Kou is shown to be very stoic, not letting a single feeling get the best of him. He keeps a calm and collect composure and will remain that way unless you can actually break down his shields. Being extremely stubborn when it comes to decision making, he's shown to be extremely inflexible and will not change his mind. When getting picked on or jumping into arguments, he's very short-fused and will throw a temper tantrum if he's very upset. Reacting like how an angry child would, Kou does not keep in check of his anger issues and will randomly spew insults at other people. If you want to make him wait, you might want to make it less then 5 minutes. The mantine is shown to be extremely impatient when it comes to waiting for other people and/or waiting for deliviries. Anything that includes you having to be patient I guess. If he falls in love with you, he's rather possessive and does not like to share at all. Kou is very clingy and much of a stickler to his loved ones and/or his closest friends. Rather then focusing on more of his negative traits, he's shown to be quite affectionate if you actually get past his shield and get to know him more. Upon making a strong bond with him, he's really serene and will try his best to be patient. Being stupidly courageous, he's very determined and will do any tasks if you flaunter him with mocks and 'oh you can't do this'. He's highlypersistent and won't let you run away from him. Even if he's all so disrespectful sounding, he's quite respectful when it comes to more deeper and emotional issues, treating others with the same respect they give to him. Kou is highly curious which perfectly goes along with his persistency and will literally do anything that piques his curiosity. He's also shown to be not much of a talker, but more of a guy who speaks through action. Pretty much , , he doesn't talk unless you approach him first. But that's different if he has to make some smart snide comments about you.

➤Background/History:
Kou lived with one older brother, and a widower father. He studied everyday to help support their family needs, and took extra hours of school studies when the faculty was able to provide it. Beginning work at an early age, he was a natural when it came to money calculations and always helped his father with the cash registry in his small shop. His brother on the other hand, studied extra hard to get past his college exams and get to his designated school. Once he reached the age of 12, Kou was forced to say farewell to his brother who had left for college, leaving him and his father by themselves. So, he began to take a lot of part time jobs to keep the bills in check and paid. During his 16th birthday, his father fell ill during work and was forced to stay put resting at home while his son managed the rest of the business. A few months passed, and his father was no longer with him. Staying put in their small house, Kou managed to save enough money to travel out of the village and into the big city life. He was already eagerly looking for a job when he came across a bulletin advertisement for the newly opened cafe, which was Daybreak-Shore. In order to snag a job at the cafe, Kou bought a small house that had a decent travel time from his new home to the cafe, which was just perfect for him.
